Paul Zabel – Co-Owner

Paul Zabel is the Chief Operating Officer and co-owner of Elevation Vacations. He graduated from the Haworth College of Business (WMU) in 1992 with a degree in Management & a minor in general business. Paul moved to Telluride in 1993 & ran the accounting department for Telluride Resort Accommodations. In 2006, he bought a fledgling property management company & increased the sales from $700K to $4M in 5-years, while also increasing the inventory from 30 units to 160. He added a reservations center & real estate company before he sold in 2005. In 2010, Paul bought half of the already established Elevation Vacations & has given up his real estate career to focus on bringing a high level of service to its owners & guests. Paul currently resides with his wife, Stephany, and two children, Mary & Mason, on Telluride’s Iron Springs Mesa

Peter McGinty
Peter McGinty – Co-Owner

Peter McGinty is the Chief Financial Officer and Co-owner of Elevation Vacations. Originally from upstate New York, Peter grew up working summers for resort businesses in the Adirondacks and the Missouri Ozarks. Peter has a BS in Biology from Binghamton University and worked as an environmental educator in Charleston, South Carolina before moving to Telluride in 1995. A passion for outdoor activities, particularly skiing, brought Peter here to work first for the Ski and Golf company in Lodging and Group Sales. In the spring of 1998, Peter became the first employee of Elevation Management, together he & Ray brought a highly personalized, hands on approach to providing property management in the Telluride area. Ray and Peter formed Elevation Vacations together in 2002 to focus on the burgeoning growth and interest in Mountain Village vacation lodging. Peter and his wife, Kelly, were married here and live in downtown Telluride.

Cassie Hodgson – Director of Operations

Cassie moved to Telluride in 2009 from Atlanta, GA. Cassie has a passion for guest services and has been in the luxury hospitality industry for 6 years. She started her hospitality career in Auburn, AL while she attended Auburn University. Moving to Telluride, Cassie was part of the opening team for Capella Telluride where she was the Front of House Manager. Cassie and her husband Brent were married in Telluride in September 2010. Her hobbies include traveling, food, people and the outdoors. Cassie and her husband live in the town of Telluride and are happy to call it home.

Mark Moran – Director of Sales and Reservations

Mark moved to Telluride in 1995 & started with Elevation Vacations in 2002. He has grown the company with his vast knowledge of the vacation rental industry. Mark concentrates on our reservation sales efforts. He continues to fulfill the majority of our reservations calls. He also maintains our important client relationships along with developing new relationships that are critical to our operation. Mark started his resort lodging industry career at the Peaks Resort and then moved to the Franz Klammer until 1999, then took a hiatus from Telluride to go to Florida & work for The Resort Initiative, Inc. As a Business Analyst with The Resort Initiative, Inc., Mark was responsible for refining operational procedures for over 2 dozen timeshare resorts internationally.
He has proved himself a major assett & plays an important role in many aspects of Elevation Vacations sales.

Brian Horton – Sales and Marketing Manager

Brian works with sales and marketing at Elevation Vacations. He is a New Hampshire native and graduated from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont. His background includes procurement and marketing work for both Sugarbush Resort in Vermont and Alyeska Resort in Alaska.

Adriana Santa Ana – Housekeeping Supervisor

Adriana has worked in housekeeping for property management companies for over 17 years in Telluride. Her experience includes work for Resort Quest, 8 years at Alpine Lodging and her own company. She has managed 30 employees performing all of the management, payroll, supervision, hire/fire, ordering, scheduling, etc for 160 units with tremendous quality and efficiency. She has a team now of 8 people and recognizes that if the same employee cleans the same unit there will be continuity and will raise the quality of service she’s providing. We have hired her specifically so our owners and guests can enjoy the level of quality she demands.

Eleanor Simmons – Front Office Manager

Eleanor grew up in Marietta, GA and attended The University of Georgia where her studies in fine art and French sent her around the world. Landing in Telluride in the summer of 2011, Eleanor brings 2 years of high end event planning & design experience to the Elevation Vacations office. While expanding her career in the hospitality industry, Eleanor plans to enjoy lots of hiking, snowboarding, live music, traveling, and cooking in and around the San Juan Mountains.
